Line Backgrounds

These backgrounds are often found on major web sites. The ones presented here should be tried out on your web pages to see if they are suitable for the purpose. Text on this type of background does not always appear clear and different text colors should be tried on any line background to test its clarity.

Combined with a major table for information, these background images can prove very effective. They are relatively quick to load but again should be viewed with different browsers and with different computer systems.

  TIPS

You can copy any of these images and, should you want, use a good graphics program to increase or decrease the brightness or hue to a more suitable color for the project you are working on. Set up a graphics folder called "Backgrounds" and copy the images to that folder. You might even make a sub-folder called "Lines" and place them in that folder. You can then make other sub-folders for other backgrounds included in Deena Digest or other web sites.
